Why was it necessary for the hand that created the universe to be nailed to the corss???

Rom 5:6

When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. 7 Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. 8 But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. 9 And since we have been made right in God鈥檚 sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God鈥檚 condemnation. 10 For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son. 11 So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God.Why was it necessary for the hand that created the universe to be nailed to the corss???
John 1:3 states that all things were made through Jesus and without Jesus nothing was made that was made. Jesus born of the Spirit can only qualify as the Man without sin the shedding of whose blood can redeem all mankind from their sins. Only Jesus is strong and capable of enduring of all the judgments inflicted by God for the sins of all mankind for all generations. Only Jesus can lay down His life and take it up again and therefore He rose up from the dead on the third day. Only Jesus can do it because He is the Son of God.Why was it necessary for the hand that created the universe to be nailed to the corss???
because of love
Simply, man crossed God and sinned. Only the sheading of blood can atone for sin. Even at that, we couldn't possible keep up with all our sins through sacrifices and would still fall short of earning our way to Gods grace and eternity with Him. Our own blood is condemned and not worthy so suicide is out of the question.

So, there had to be one perfect, unblemished sacrifice to be made for all mankind. That was Jesus. Being God incarnate, in the flesh, the Word of God spoken to create all, He was the only possible sacrifice worthy and acceptable to God to pay the price for all our sins. So it had to be a free gift. God loves us that much.
Listern Very closely to ALL that says Jesus was God, Jesus was NOT God, God did not even dwell in Jesus until he was baptized at age 30, Jesus is the Son of God, %26amp; Not the 2nd person of the Godhead, First, God %26amp; Holy Ghost is a spirit, %26amp; has never been a person, they are the self same spirit, only working in different office ship. God was NOT nailed to the Cross %26amp; God did Not die, Jesus Christ is the one that die %26amp; rose again by that Holy Ghost that lived in that body, you will NEVER, NEVER find where God died, or the Holy Ghost. So to answer your question, God was NOT nailed to the cross, Jesus Christ was. Now to the oneness people %26amp; the trinity people, If you try to make God %26amp; the Holy Ghost different from each other, then you need to erase the scripture where it says, there is ONE LORD, ONE SPIRIT, ONE FAITH, ONE BAPTISM, ONE GOD, you may ask what then do I believe, I believe exactly what the Apostles of old taught, One Spirit working in 3 different offices, as God the Creator, then God in his Son as The REDEEMER, %26amp; God as The HOLY GHOST, The One and only spirit of God working in 3 different offices as creator %26amp; redeemer %26amp; comforter, There is only One redemptive name %26amp; that is Jesus Christ. I believe in repentance %26amp; being baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ %26amp; receiving the Baptism of the Holy Ghost as God's seal of approval.
It made for a better story. It's a way for Christianity to really pull at people's heart-strings so they believe that superstition.

If the Bible just said, ';God made everything the way it is. The end.';, it wouldn't have gained as many converts.
Because we broke His Law, and therefor we needed salvition.
It was not..

Jesus did not create the universe, his father did...

And no, Jesus %26amp; God are not one in the same..

The catholic church just made that one up...
Father, Spirit, Son= God

It was the only way God could save a dying world. We are all sinners.

Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins. (Heb. 9:22)

God had to become man (Jesus) to shed His blood to take away the sins of the world and die on the cross to conquer death, so we can have eternal life.

After Jesus ascended to heaven God sent the Holy Spirit (Counselor) who will teach us all things and remind us everything Jesus had said. (John 14:26)

When Moses asked God what was His name, God said,

I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites : I AM has sent me to you. (Exodus 3:13-14)

Jesus said, ';I tell you the truth, before Abraham was born. I AM.'; (John:8:58)

Jesus said, '; I and the Father are One, (John 10:30)

No one has ever seen God, but God the One and only, who is at the Father's side, has made Him known. (John 1:18)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1)

Jesus IS God.
to make people feel guilty, so they were easier to control
I guess it seemed necessary to the sinners of the time. To teach us the ultimate lesson in love. Keep in mind, not everyone wanted Jesus to be crucified.
so that the scripture will be fulfilled
It is a necessary step, a way, for the creation to become the creator. No time element involved.
The hand that created the universe was not the same hand nailed to the cross. Duh. Jusus is seperate then God.
That never made any sense to me either. I think a quotation from a Parody of a Jack Chick comic sums it up best:

';Why would I need to sacrifice myself to myself to allow me to change a rule... I made myself!?!';
