Nail through the hands?

have you ever wondered how it felt like when nails were driven into Jesus's hands? we all know it would hurt like heck, but still.





a mediu layer of my palm skin got ripped off b/c i was doing something. i decided to apply pressure and it hurt.Nail through the hands?
The nails were probably put into His wrists. The Hebrew could be translated either way. If the nails were in His hands, they would have ripped through.Nail through the hands?
Im reminded of the Ingmar Berman film ';the Silence'; where a guy talks about how even though the crucifixion must have been painful it could have been a lot worse, certainly millions of people have been tortured worse and longer then 3 hours. But it was the silence that was worse, crying out to god his daddy and getting nothing but silence in return.


Not the question you asked but it just reminded me, havent seen that film in years, ought to get back into the Swedish Dane.
Not to mention the ones in the feet, the thorns driven into his head, the 47 bloody slashes across His back and His beard being ripped out of His face. Then comes the slow suffocation until death comes.
It wasn't done in his hands, it was done in his wrists. The hands wouldn't have supported his weight and would have ripped. same goes for the feet, it was ankles that were done.
Sure, I've also wondered how bad it must've sucked being burned at the stake at the hands of Christians like the thousands of women who were accused of being witches.
Deep tissue trauma feel very different from skin damage. Especially just after the wound takes place. It's possible to be severely damaged without even realising it, while a small burn in the same area can drive you crazy with pain.
yeah someone did it to him, but in many religion the medium will cut themselves with knife to clean the sin for other also.
And any of the thousands of others who were killed the same way (assuming, of course, that ';Jesus'; ever existed).
I am sure it was a terrible pain and not something I would want to feel.
I had a nail driven through my foot before. Sure it hurt, but a sacrifice for all of mankind? It didn't hurt THAT much.
